Having visited Italy in 2014, Andriy Kovalenko held the exhibition “Where Pinocchio was born”. The exhibition was held in the “MARKOFF” gallery in Odesa, where about sixteen landscapes with views of Italy were presented.
Under this name in the Odessa Art Museum (Sofievskaya St., 5a) on November 12 Andrey Kovalenko’s painting exhibition has opened. The works created in 2014-2015 are presented. Exhibition name artist associates with an important stage of his life, when it is necessary to “stop, think and go further”. The goal of the painter is not to reproduce reality, but to express the emotional perception of the world in a large-scale range of life and being.
